3) Its Law of Category - “If you can’t be first in a category, set up another category and you will be first in” If you didn’t get in the minds of prospect’s first, don’t give up your hope. Find another new category you will be the first in, It’s easy as you might think.

Knowing About Niche Selection, Integrated Digital Marketing, and Personal Branding Work Together

Finding Niche Selection

Niche Selection is very ideal for any business person since it positions you within a bigger market in a region, where there is far less competition for a specific product and your product is good and being accepted by people there you can actually earn and make a profit to minimum.

Benefits of Niche Markets

1 Reduced competition

2 Focused business efforts

3 Providing expertise

4 Establishing brand loyalty

Example: If you're selling backpacks for instance there could be countless types of selection to offer to your customers, If you try to offer them all it will be impossible to please a customer, as you don't know what his requirements are. there could be problems in selling a product to all. If you try to focus on backpacks designed only for a specific Niche, Like Hikers, Travellers, who travel regularly or go for specific camps outside. In that case it becomes very easy to sell and concentrate your efforts on making the best possible product for that customer only.

This concentrated effort offers a chance to become known as the specialist in a specific product or service which makes a business more likely to be recommended by its customers. With this Niche product market can position you higher and helps your business confidently expand its offering into a broader market. Once you're known to offer high-quality travelling backpacks, In that case your brand will make consumers more likely to trust in your products. Later you can gradually expand offering other products for the Education Sector, Office Going People so on.

Key Takeaways

1) A niche market is a segment of a broader market with its own needs and preferences

2) Finding a niche market requires researching consumer's preferences, competitors and potential market changes

3) Nice markets can be defined based on values, Hobbies, Location, or quality

4) Having success within a niche market will welcome more competitors.

You must try to consider the three important aspects:- Talent, Market and Passion. which will add values to others.

Integrated Digital Marketing?

It's the integration of multiple marketing strategies to form a cohesive online approach for your business. It works typically like Web Development and design, Search engine Optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) content marketing, social media marketing, local listings management, Paid advertising,( Or pay per click advertising) Campaigns.

The idea behind Integrated digital marketing is that, which each individual strategy will not have a huge impact on its own, when used in conjunction, you can create a more influential online presence.

As with today's market strategy many are moving toward integrated solutions, where the marketing strategy provides better visibility and ROI for business online.

Building a Strong Brand

Below are the steps to understand and follow to build a strong brand

1) Discover the purpose behind your brand

2) Research competitor brands within your industry.

3) Eg: Xerox, Google & Zoom are brand names which have become verbs.

4) Determine your brand's target audience

5) Establish a brand mission statement

6) Form your unique brand voice

7) Let your brand personality shine.

8) Choose a category which suits your capabilities and efforts and become a leader in the category. Deciding where to compete is half your success.

9) If you cannot be a leader in a particular category, be a leader in a sub-category.

Below is the example of my mentor whose name is Deepak Kanakaraju (From Digital Deepak.com)

Digital Deepak - No.1 Digital Marketer in India. (Subcategory in the country) If you select any category it's very difficult to become no 1 digital marketer in the world. Because there are many others who are no 1 in the world and they are very well recognized. You can become No 1 as a subcategory in the country. There are certain categories in which you can become no 1 in the country. Marketing is a means to an end and marketing is a channel to build a strong brand. And once you build a strong brand and you become no1 in that category, Then people will find it easy to remember and where your marketing cost will go down and the acquisition will go down, And then people will come to you directly to search for your brand product. As people do always remember no 1 or maximum 2. Where every market becomes a two-player market in the long run. If you're trying to become no 1 in the category which is pretty difficult, but you can become no 1 recognized in a subcategory where you can position in a particular category. If you have a plan to become no 1 position in a particular niche, in the long run, you need to select a small niche to start with and then slowly you can grow and reach the No 1 position in the country, Like this way you can grow and occupy the market leadership position. Like this, you can broaden your position wider and wider.

Entering Competitive Market

Before entering a competitive market, you need to thoroughly research who all are your competitors with whom you will have your competition. Then you may have to offer a unique service or benefits which your competitor does not offer, With that, you can make a stand out in your market. Once you start to generate business, provide excellent customer service so you generate a positive reputation, encouraging new customers to visit your establishment, or purchase your product. Below is some Important example which needs to keep in mind.

Pricing

You need to do thorough research on pricing part of what your competitor's pricing is done, You don’t have to match with lowest prices available, and on other hands, you need not have to charge significantly more. Charge to a reasonable portion so the customers are happy and return; they may come back again and again with the trust you have built-in.

Services

You need to do thorough research on the services being offered by your competitors. If you’re trying to start with detailed service, for example, your competitors may offer a mobile service or warranty. To make your business stand out, You need to offer services that others don’t, such as free shipping, a price match guarantee, some discount coupons for the next purchase product. Offering more than your competitors might warrant a slightly higher price. Add benefits that make customers continue using your business, such as a lifetime warranty on specific parts when customers intend to use your service for regular maintenance.

Advertising

If you’re not sure about the methods of advertising and creating effective content, you need to hire an experienced marketing company to create your advertisements. Advertise those benefits of using your service or purchasing your brand product based on your previous research. If you offer additional services or benefits lacking in your market or offer the lowest pricing in your area, or city, mention so in your advertising. Purchase Radio advertisement, Television ads, Weekend newspaper ads, advertise a sale to draw further and generate more business.
